as it is mentined in some forumes there is new solution by PCS7 : - there is two softwares, wich of them must be used,SIMATIC PCS 7 APACS+ OS or APACS Control 7.0 ?what is diffrences?
- which software will be use as engineering?

Hi Pionner,
I understand that:
- The new version of process suite (running on Windows XP) is PCS7 (WinCC).
- The "SIMATIC PCS 7 APACS + OS" is the whole package HMI migration only, while "APACS Control 7.0" is just a part of package, this part is a software installer "4-mation" because when making the migration of HMI, will need the "4 -mation "(XP compatible) for the configuration of the APACS / QUADLOG controller.
- If migrate HMI only, the engineering software to use is the "4 mation" and the DBA.
- The software supervision is PCS7.
Best Regards, Amanuel.
