Abput Sink / Source type DI in LOGO

AmitC Joined 11/29/2011 Last visit: 5/12/2013 Posts: 15 Rating:  (0)	(0)  Do LOGO PLC is having Sink / Source type Digital input?? If yes, then which module is having this facility?  I want to take 8 digital i/p's as a sink type and 8 digital i/p's as a source type. Please suggest.

A set of 8 interfacing relays can be used to condition your sink inputs and allow you to proceed with your program. You are limited to 24 inputs remember.

Toeternietoe Joined 12/27/2006 Last visit: 5/17/2013 Posts: 415 Rating:  (20)	(0)  You can also place a resistance of about 1000 ohms between the + of your power and your digital input. Your sensor connects to the digital input and - supply. Then you can use Sink sensors.

This type of LOGO! supports 24V DC or 24V AC as power supply. If sink or source depends on how you wire it (Power supply and inputs). This is also possible with the LOGO! DM8 24R. Hope this helps
