My FM458 stop suddently and S7 400 CPU is all right. It is an online project. Who can tell me which kind of reason can cause FM458 stop? Think you!

Hello.
First connect to FM458 (better via DUST1 interface), go to the CFC-menu 'CPU-Module Information' and copy from both tabs the diagnostic information. This can help to understand the problem of stop.

Could you post diagnostics here?
What do you see in Module Information of FM, called from Simatic manger?
Have you activated checkbox 'Signal cause of STOP' in HWConfig-Properties of FM458-Diagnostic/Clock tab?

I find the message' Event ID 16# 4301
Mode transition from STOP to STARTUP
STOP due to: STOP caused by PG stop operation or by SFB 20 "STOP" '.

I read the manual it seem that SFB20 can not cause FM458 stop. Is there any other reason for the stop of FM458-1DP? the attachment is the message of FM458-1DP. Thanks.

The main possible reason for FM458 STOP, that I could see in you diagnostic are events 48, 53 and 58. "User program canceled (stop due to system error) and "H" flashes on the display".

Remedy:

Call-up the module information in the CFC and read-out the exception buffer.

H - fatal system error. What is the status of FM LEDs?
Go to the CFC-menu 'CPU-Module Information' and copy from both tabs (Error fields and Exception buffer) the diagnostic information.

Only UF lamp flash. That is perhaps there is USF block in CFC. USF block is written with code 16#8000 which is used in software protection. Is that the reason?

Standard USF-FB has no software protection. It could not be the reason of FM stop.

Post here diagnostics from CFC-menu 'CPU-Module Information' from both tabs (Error fields and Exception buffer).
