www.myscada.org - Anybody used it yet ?

Has anybody looked at or even used www.myscada.org yet?
It looks like a great way to talk to a network of logos, especially if it can talk to S7 devices.
I really want to know if anybody has used it to talk to a logo.

Hello,
I have seen the software before it is a graphics editor, All I can understand is it is ony for s7-300/400/1200 by using myScada Box hardware for the router. Not for the LOGO!
Here is how it works
S7-PLC>>> myScada Box >>> SCADA server with SQL database >>> myScada Box>>> iPad/iPod/iPhone

I can't see any advantage to use it!

If its only for S7 families, I know I can do like this:
S7-PLC>>>SCADA server with SQL database>>> iPad/iPod/iPhone/Android>>>S7-PLC
      OR
S7-PLC with bluetooth/wifi <<<>>>Android

Once again NOT for the LOGO!

From Myscada.org support...

"mySCADA fully supports S7-300/400/1200 Siemens PLCs. We have limited support of LOGO!(Input,Output(Q) and Flag memory(M) registers only) and we did only few tests on LOGO!, so I can't promise you that it will work flawlessly. We plan to implement full-scale support of LOGO! protocol by the end of this year."

The way I understand it...

Logo>>>myScadabox(Webserver/GUI)>>>Router>>>internet for remote access with nice graphics.
or Logo>>> Ipad HMI app if on the same network.

Hi,

Why I need to use myScadabox+Server? I know with some programming I can do it with any PC! It feels like connecting two devices like: DEVICE1->RS232->RS485->RS232->DEVICE2 (Just my feeling).blinkgrin
