How is design if the incoming supply of 830Vac (armature) and 400Vac (field & Control unit) are not in same sources feeder?

We replaced the old Ward Leonard system for existing 830Vdc Motor by Simoreg 6RA7093-4LV62-0.   The three Simoreg for each DC Motor for application of Metal Conveyor Bar Mill .

The 830Vac supply is from 2 unit transformers 6kV/830Vac parallel for 3 converter.

Thanks for your support

Hello.
I don't see the problem when armature and field supply are separate. But I think you need some protective switches at AC side to connect armature voltage to the drives.

Dear , It is better to use 830/480 trafo to keep same source for armature , field and control as a system safe . Once i observed this separate supply feeder of 480 failed during drive run n armature was on , CCP capacitors burnt n fire was takeplace. U have to take care for disconnection of sources while different situations / conditions.
Thanks.
