Hello Experts,

Our system is PCU50 from 2003.
We send a floppy disk for repair (not responding at all), but the floppy was ok and come back.
We tested the floppy in another machine and it was working but not in the original machine.

Can someone tell me what the problem might be. I used it one year ago without problem.
No one have make any changes of the system.

Best Regards
emil2

Hello again,

Thanks for your fast replay.

We have NT4 in our machines and there are no uninstall and scan feature. But i disable and enable the floppy in the device feature under control panel.
Drive A: was disappeared in filebrowser and then come back when I enabled the device.
This action did not activated the drive.

I looked in the bios and the drive was enabled.

Can something else be the problem?

Best Regards

Hello...

Could you check floppy drivers slot in your pcu 50  any pins are bent / damaged  that may causing the  floppy driver not to work.

Regards,
Prakash

I have now check the slot and no pins are bend or broken.
