im trying to setup the configuration for a IM151-8 with citect, now i bought PSdirect as i would hink of its the best sollution because i have a stand alone scada pc.

Now my question is if anyone had the same problem like me and that is i can't connect citect to the PLC. I have a manual and did it exacly like it said and the siemens inductrial ethernet package is connected but when i startup citect it gives a communication error..

when i setup communication this is my configuration:

I/O Server

No Board (that's what my manual is telling me)

Ports with only a port name and port number 0

I/O Device with name same as  siemens inductrial ethernet, adress: S7;ETHERNET 

protocol: PSDIRECT1 and portname like i made in Ports

can anyone tell me why i don't need a Board and what i can try to solve this problem?
