Dear experts,

This is spindle application (6RA70 4Q Drive, 900Amps). If power is cut, when the drive is running, the speed increased abnormally either forward or reverse direction (my set point always forward direction only)and it takes long time to come to zero speed. because the inertia is very high. But this not happen on every power cut. This is coming very randomly. During the power cut the control supply, field and armature supply will cut simultaneously. 

Kindly give the solution for this……

Hello.
If you mean by power cut the switching-off (disconnecting) supply voltage, then I think the only way to avoid unnecessary running of the drive is to install some kind of external brakes, as without supply voltage the drive is uncontrolled. You may also look at 'Automatic restart' function, chapter 9.17 of the manual.
