There is no possibility to connect Tags under Named connection with PLCSIM.One way to do is to move the tags from Named connection to MPI. This can by done by:
1. Open WinCC Project
2.Open SQL Server Management Studio 2005, my case
3.Connect.
4.Then Open Database as attached-"Table1"
5.Then Exchange the channelnumber value as arrow marked in in the 2nd pic.CHUNITNUMBER
6. Now check Tag are exchanged between MPI & Named connection.

There may be difficulty doing with Structured tag, but may be some way should be there. This is just a way, not professional way to do.

Dear All,

I did a post last time for exchanging Tags between Named connection and MPI from SQL server, but I now I have multiple CPUs with Manynamed connections. How to transfer all these named connections from different PLC tags into MPI with different MPI addresses? Any Idea ?

Hi everyone.
I have the same problem.
The solution I found is:
If you are using PCS7 - to move all tags to IE folder, you have to change Connection type during OS compilation.

I hope this info will be helpfull for someone.

Ivan
