I want to setup WinLC RTX for testing purposes.
I finally managed to get WinAC running on a non VMWare machine.
I need 600+ communication jobs, so it must be 2010.

First issue:
Hardware configuration...
> Install hardware updates from internet, select all and go...
No V4.6 firmware found.
> Update catalog
No V4.6 firmware found.
> It must be on CD, after a bit of search I found following hspcontents.xml and also the correct .hsp file (see bottom of post). Everything indicates V4.6 as you can see.
No V4.6 firmware found.
> Update catalog
No V4.6 firmware found.

Who can help me out.

Second issue:
Since PLCSim is not suited for our purpose, we need WinLC to simulate S7-400
Because of testing purposes, realtime isn't that critical, so run it in VMWare 8.0.2 should be handy.
I know there are timer issues, It's an acceptable issue for us.
(Who can explain what's wrong with the timers)
The bigger problem is that it won't run in VMWare at all, so is it possible to tweak some settings to make it possible / is it solved with an older version of VMWare or using virtualbox?
The first issue is more important, but this is the next step.

Thanks in Advance,
B.

Yes it should be as yours but it isn't like that.
I hope my problem description was clear enough to recognise that.
(So what's the point of your reply?, going to post a screenshot tomorrow)

Step 7 V5.4 + SP + HF4
As you can see in the screenshot it is installed and replacing installed files was successful.

The HSP for WinAC RTX (f) 2010 is available with STEP7 V5.5, not for V5.4, as far as I know.

That''s also what the file extract of your starting post says:

"STEP7 V5.5"

So you need to update your STEP7

Have Fun!

<HWK:STEP7VERSION> V5.5.0.0 </HWK:STEP7VERSION>  Changed to my version.

It seems to work but I don't recommend this for realtime purposes.

Solved!
Thanks

No difference with online update at first sight.
Problem "solved"by the way.
