Im having trouble getting my PLC to work with my encoder.

I think it could be becasuse the encoder is a Sine/cosine encoder with 1Vss? Will the PLC read 1Vss?

FM350-2 works with encoders 1Vss sin/cos?

You must convert 1Vss to 5VTTL.

Look for Heidenhain Untits named  "IBV101 "  or "APE371" or . . .

No, you are wrong. blush

craiglb told us that he is using a 313C.

That can not use 5V. It needs 24V for the counter input signals.

Thanks for your help Folks,

I've decided it was easier and probably cheaper to change over the encoder. I have chosen one that I have used in the past with a 313c PLC.  This one
