TCP connection between SIMOTION D & S7-300

Dear Friends,

A  TCP connection was established between SIMOTION D & S7-300(CP343-1),
the S7-300 was server.  The system function : _tcpopenclient _tcpsend _tcpcloseconnection were used(Background task). And data was transfered successfully.
I turn off the PLC' power,then turn on the power. and the connection can't be established.
Enable  _tcpcloseconnection ，then enable _tcpopenclient again, a new connection can't be established,either.
It seems only if you restart the SIMOTION'CPU, the connection become normal.

How to make SIMOTION D reestablish the TCP connection automatically in condition of PLC power off then power on?

Hi,

The LCom library is based on TCP/IP and simplifies the use of SIMOTION system functions.

You can find the library LCom on the DVD Utilities&Applications which is a content of the SCOUT delivery.

Hello Anxiao,
what does the special diagnostic of CP343-1 show for the TCP connection? "passive connection establishment in progress" or anything else?
How did you parameterize the connection in NETPRO of S7-300? I recommend an unspecified connection (without IP address and port of the remote station).
